Find Extra Money Sitting On Your Entertainment Center

One of the first ways I started making extra money from home was by going through all of the things that I've collected over the years but really haven't had much use for.  For example, since the popularity of MP3 players has gained momentum, my collection of Cd's started attracting dust.  So I went to Half.com which is part of EBay and began selling all of the movies, books and Cd's that I no longer used.  Even though some of the items were sold for just a few dollars, it added up quickly & I earned a few extra hundred dollars within the first month for very minimal effort. The best part was that it only took me about 30 minutes every few days to prepare and ship orders when they came in.  It was some of the easiest money I ever made and I was thirsty for more.  So I began looking at garage/estate sales and thrift stores for items that I could make a profit on.

Pawn shops are good options as well. I once found a near new InStep bike trailer at a pawn shop for $45 and I was able to turn around and sell it for $90!  How simple is that for 10 minutes of "work"?  Look into setting up a free Craigslist account too.  If you use CL, you get to keep all of your profit.  There are no selling, payment or transaction fees.  All of the money goes into your pocket.  Keep in mind if you do end up turning this into a full time business, you will need to keep records and pay taxes.  I see it as a catch-22 where you need to spend money to make money.  There's no way around it.

It might take some trial and error but you will get better with experience.  Look at places like Amazon or bookstores for reasonably priced guides and books.  Pretty soon, you'll have yourself up, running and enjoying the thrill of making money!  Check out the Amazon link below, there are 100's of books with online buying/selling information and tips.

So until next time, I wish you a prosperous adventure into the world of online selling!
